April 27, 2023 - Reportable today launched Reportabot, an AI-based tool that writes news releases in under 60 seconds with minimal input. The free tool will help time-strapped entrepreneurs, businesses, and communications professionals quickly create the first draft of an announcement that is well-structured, easy to understand and written at the intended audience's level.
Reportabot was built in response to customers asking for news release writing services. As a software company, an automated tool made the most sense for Reportable's customers and business. This free and automated tool will now help authors of news releases:

By answering a small series of prompts in just a few sentences, Reportabot generates a draft release in Reportable's multimedia news release template complete with quotes, key takeaways, embedded links, meta tags, and boiler plate. The draft is generated from a combination of ChatGPT; underlying rules provided by reporters and communications professionals that adhere to news release best practices; and an intuitive sequence of prompts.
